I created Aroma Restoratives due to my love affair of massage and natural remedies that started in my late teens. This was cemented after completing a Thai massage course whilst travelling in South East Asia over ten years ago.
For over a decade my career developed within the corporate world in Leeds and London until I enrolled on a Holistic Massage course, and from the first lesson I was hooked. Within a year I had resigned from my successful, fast paced job, qualified in aromatherapy and travelled to Bali to study Balinese massage and traditional body treatments.
Bali offered so much inspiration a seven week study trip turned into a five month exploration. As well as studying other forms of massage, such as Lomi Lomi and lymphatic drainage, I developed a knowledge of natural products and their benefits to both the skin and body.
I decided to take the plunge and start my own massage therapy and skincare selling business. I had the responsibility of profit and loss in my corporate roles so why not use that experience for my own business? I also know the demands faced by many in today’s fast paced, urban environment, and the strain it puts on our bodies with illness, stress and physical ailments. From this Aroma Restoratives was born.
I am a member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), the largest and leading professional association for therapists in the UK and Ireland.
