Lomi Lomi

Developed by early Polynesian settlers to Hawaii, Lomi Lomi is often referred to as the Loving Touch massage. Once only practiced by the village Kahuna (healer) it is now becoming popular the world over as it helps relieve pain and balances energy blocks of the body.

A variety of techniques are used during the massage, the most famous being use of the elbow and forearms. These movements work deep into the skin tissue and help to relieve muscle tightness. They also help to release areas of tension and lymphatic drainage blockages, the system responsible for the removal of toxins from the body.
